Well done to all the volunteers, you make this event what it is! The organisation could be a bit smoother - last time I did this, registration went off with no issues. This year there were instructions that didn’t match (it said to check number on the boards but there were no boards… fortunately the lovely volunteers were able to look me up on their list after I showed them the information I had received and they couldn’t work out my number there either!) So just having something where people could look things up physically could reduce work for the volunteers.

More toilets as nearly missed the start

Hill at the end was harsh. Really enjoyed the run definitely coming back next year.

For the cost of entry i think this race is excellent value. All the essentials are covered - clear pre race info, parking on site, loos, bag drop, fast and clearly marked course, pacers (though some extra ones between 40 and 45 would have been nice), medal and post race banana and water. It's not shiny and glamourous but it's really well run and raising money for great local charities. This was my first time but I was impressed and will come again!

Great race and course. The only criticism is there didn’t appear anywhere to leave bikes safely.

I run this every year and it's always a great race... however a couple of tiny easy tweaks would make it even better! Firstly, more toilets now that the race has considerably grown in size! Secondly, PLEASE have an earlier start time! Yesterday was abnormally cold however it's normally very hot, and running a 10km with a start time of 10.30am makes it exceptionally hot for everyone but ESPECIALLY those who are slower runners. Finishing near midday when the sun is directly overhead makes it a very uncomfortable and unenjoyable experience. (Those that remember last year remember this well!) I'd love for this race to start at 9.30am, maybe 10am at the very latest.

Really well organised event. Such a friendly atmosphere, brilliant support and encouragement from stewards all the way round, nice route with a good amount off road, and a classy medal too.

Flat course, well marked and marshalled. Plenty of free parking and facilities.

Marshalls were amazing..so smiley and encouraging.
Very well organised and course was great for a novice 10k runner as well as the pros.

Car parking wasn’t well marshalled.
And was not happy about the excessive plastic water bottles given out at the water stations. Everyone had a few gulps and then threw them down. Why weren’t cups used?

A well organised fast course. Great for those chasing PB’s or for the first timers. Well worth for the money.
